Age limit

• Age as on 2025-08-01: General men 21-37 years, General women 21-40 years
• OBC/EBC men and women 21-40 years
• SC/ST men and women 21-42 years
• 5 years relaxation for Bihar government in-service candidates (3 years served)
• Ex-servicemen up to 3 years extra

Qualification

Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) with Physics as a subject, from a recognised university, with minimum 50% marks; 45% for SC/ST; B.Sc with Physics, minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST)
